Using Crystal Reports

to Crystal Reports |
| To access Crystal
Reports, simply click HERE.
Once you have opened Crystal in Internet Explorer, you
can save it to your favorites in Internet Explorer. |

Log On |
| If you do not have a user name and password,
please contact ICS at 255-0808 to obtain this information.
NOTE: Crystal Reports can only be accessed from a CCPS
computer on campus. All usernames and passwords are
case sensitive. |

Open Report |
| Click on the folders, labeled in Blue
(indicating a link) and select they type of report to
view. |

View |
| Once you see the list of reports,
select View.
You will be asked
to Enter the four digit school number or select from
a list of schools to view. If you are prompted,
you must enter four digits (lead with zeros). For instance,
school "31" would be "0031". |

Navigate |
| Click on the folders, labeled in Blue
(indicating a link) and select they type of report to
view. |

Print |
|
Once your report is generated, you will see navigation
bar at the top with several options. First, please
note that to view the subsequent pages of your report,
you must use the arrows in the upper left hand corner.
The number in the white space indicates what page
you are currenty viewing.
To print, click on the printer icon from the tool
bar.

Export |
|
You can export the file to Excel for manipulation also.
To export, click the icon that looks like and envelope
with an arrow pointing into it. A window will pop up
and prompt you to specify how you want the file exported
(type) you should select ".xls
Data Only". Then tell the computer where
you would like the file saved. You can now close Crystal
and open the file in Excel for manipulation.
