Endorsement/Subject Additions

If you are adding an area to your professional five-year certificate, use the form available for download on this page. There are some exceptions to note:

• You cannot use this form to add any master's level areas of certification. Master's level subject areas are as follows: Administration of Adult Education, Educational Leadership, Guidance and Counseling, Local Director of Vocational Education, Reading, Speech-Language Impaired, and School Psychologist. You must complete an Application for a Florida Educator's Certificate (CG-10) for processing by the Department of Education. http://www.fldoe.org/edcert/apply.asp
  
  
• You cannot use this form to add an area if you hold a three-year temporary certificate, with the exception of those adding the ESOL, Gifted or Reading Endorsement. If you hold a temporary certificate and are applying for any other area, you must complete the Application for a Florida Educator's Certificate (CG-10) for processing by the Department of Education. http://www.fldoe.org/edcert/apply.asp

Please submit application to Peggy Stoever, Professional Development Center along with a personal check made payable to the Charlotte County Public Schools, for $56 for each area you are adding. Example: Adding ESOL Endorsment and Middle Grades Math, submit money order for $112.
