ALL school personnel who have reasonable cause to suspect that a child has been abused or neglected or threatened with harm are mandated to report it to the Abuse Registry - IMMEDIATELY (Chapter 39 Florida Statues).
Also be sure to notify your administrator of your report.
When reporting have the following information available:
- Victim's name, address/location, approximate age, race, and sex;
- Sign or indications of harm or injuries; and
- Relationship of the alleged perpetrator to the victim if possible.
